PHP doesn't run on IIS

PHP is a web programming language very like C/C++, but with easy interfaces to many other technologies such as databases, PDF and graphics. This page is actually a PHP page and the date and time is generated dynamically when the page is delivered from the web server. It's also higher level than ASP and there are more sites offering free code advice so it's more efficient to code.

PHP is great for dynamic pages. You can also generate dynamic graphics and can automate the production of button graphics for OSCommerce.
