SEO No ModRewrite

The standard Search Engine Optimisation addon for OSCommerce uses Apache Mod-Rewrite to modify the URL web addresses so that search engines rank the site more highly. If you're not sure what that looks like, have a look at http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk.

Some shared servers (including the ones we provide) don't allow webmasters to run Mod-Rewrite because of the load it places on the server. If you can't use Mod-Rewrite or would like more control over the URLs you have, then this modification is for you.
