Building on MakeMeta, Graith Internet have used Perl,PHP and Database technologies to create the search engine for this site.

Every page on the site is examined and every word is put into an SQL database together with the Title and the page description. The search page will display the results of any search and allow users to link to any page quickly.

Graith Internet hosting customers can use this technology on their site at a very reasonable cost. Anyone else may be able to use this product on their site if their server hosting supports PHP,Perl5 and MySQL.

BT Ignite also have this search technology on their site. This not only indexes static web pages, but also dynamically generated pages such as press releases and On.line Magazine.
